"The Violent Kind" starring Mackenzie Firgens as
Trixie, a badass Rockabilly will have its World
Premiere this winter at the Sundance Film
Festival 2010. The film produced by Maleek Akkad
(Halloween) reunites Firgens with directors The
Butcher Brothers and the cast of "The Hamiltons".
Firgens was
also just nominated for her first Best Actress award in
the comedy "Gerald" staring opposite Louis
Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and legendary
actor Mikey Rooney (Night at the Museum, National
Velvet ). Watch for this festival darling which has
already picked up numerous awards.
